January 8th, 2004 - Just 10 weeks & 2 days away!

Hi everyone! Well, I think it goes without saying that 2004 is going to be QUITE a year! But hey, I'll say it anyways, Happy New Year - Happy New Re-Birth to all of us! I just learned on Monday that my surgery date will be January 8th. My first thoughts were YIPPEE, YIKES, what did I get myself into, HOORAY, FINALLY and okay, this seems so much more real now! For those also having surgery on this date, we have 3 super Thursdays close behind us: New Year's Day, Christmas and Thanksgiving. My future "surgery anniversary" date will certainly be one to celebrate years from now. I'm scared, nervous, excited, motivated and feeling waves of emotion. You will all be in my prayers! Karen

Karen, Oh my!!! I have been counting the months, days, minutes until surgery, BUT when I saw your post that said 10 weeks.... I about flipped out!!! I am having my surgery 1/10/04 just 2 days later. It's like reality set in when I saw it in print. I was given my date back on Aug 25th so I have been waiting for a very long time. Good luck. I will be counting down the days with you. Pam

I am also having surgery on January 8th. Boy, seeing it as 10 weeks and 2 days really gets me excited!!! Good Luck to all of us!
