Advice please

Hi, I recieved a letter back from my insurace company today. They approved my request for surgery on my arms, but denied my request for pannilectomy (sp?). I have a hernia and was expecting that this would help my case for them approving my surgery. Any suggestions on how to deal with an appeal? The surgeon's office suggests that I need to be able to present evidence of rashes and the like. I didn't have that happen. I have used over the counter 'stuff' to prevent that from happening...consequently, I have no evidence! Thanks for your suggestions.

You may be able to get the insurance to pay for the hernia repair and have your PS do the tummy tuck for cash payment. I have been told that sometimes they will do it this way. Wishing you the best
