Hello Lisa, Tomorrow will be my 6 month post op date, down 106 lbs, BMÏ of 29.1. Wow, it been a real up and down experiance, for me. I lost a lot at first and have lost studiley since, but had some problems with my diabetices in June and had to be hosipalized, even gain back 15 lbs in the hospital, lost that weight after coming home, but unable to excerise, so I feel like I haven't acheived that I wanted body image wise, I also struggle with emotioinal issues. Like old anger, can't do food now. So now what.!! I will keep working towards my goal. I support this web site and all the support groups in my area. Thank God for them.

Good morning to all I'm down 93 pounds in just 6 short months. (6 months today).....I have gone from a size 3X to a 16W. I feel better than I have in many years and I even look great. My daughter is getting married in 3 weeks and I enjoyed going shopping yesterday to buy a dress. I love shopping now. I would do this all over again if I had to. This surgery and Dr. Overcash saved my live. Hope everyone is happy and doing great. Will update again. Charlene Kayea

Hi I am 6 months post op and am down 87 lbs and have 23 more to go. I have hit a plateau and am so frustrated!! I feel ungrateful at times because I want more off, and should appreciate what I have. I'll keep plugging along though. I can't wait to have the tummy tuck done though, I think that will help a great deal. Keep up the good work!!

It has been the best thing I could ever have done for myself! Many people who knew me before have asked if I have any regreats and the answer is always that I hadn't done this sooner! But now that I have, I am enjoying going to the mall and buying new smaller clothes and giving my old clothes to others that can use it. This life altering decision has also made huge differences in how I view life now. I was always very depressed and my self-worth was so low I settled for less than I deserved and now I have let go of all that and am now making sure than I am happy with whatever desions I make, the people that I surround myself with and the relationships I get into. I guess you can say that I was reborn when I had the surgery. Love to all those that have gone or are going through their own changes!

I am 6 months post op tomorrow and share your excitement. I am down 90lbs and proud to say a size 10 It' is amazing what this surgery can do for a person. I can chase my 2 year old now. Life is good!
