Anyone trying to get Pregnant???

Now that we are one year post op most Docs will say it is safe to get pregnant. I have a 3 year old boy and am trying to concieve #2 without much luck. It seems like the weight loss has throw everything out of whack. Anyone else having a hard time??? I thought we were supposed to be more fertile after weight loss surgery.

Not trying to get pregnant, but I relate with your 'never ending period' as posted on your profile. I am on the Birth Control pill, and while it is effective and I am not getting pregnant, I get my period every 2 weeks! WEIRD!! I wish you much luck on conceiving, what does the doctor say?

Actually I just had a baby. I accidentally got pregnant at around 10 weeks post op. I had my baby boy at 11 months post op. I started out at 5'7" and 264 lbs and size 22. Currently at 6 week post partum I am 145 lbs and a size 10. I hope you are able to conceive soon, I know what's its like to want to get pregnant and not be able to. I tried to conceive for 2 years before surgery then I got pregnant when I wasn't trying after surgery. Marjorie RNY 1/22/03 264/145/150

i am trying with much help from doctor...because i have pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) so i am on meds for it.
