1 YEAR!!!

Well today has been an ordinary day, unlike one year ago today when I was having this life altering surgery. Many things have changed in this last year. 1. Diabetes - GONE! 2. High Blood Pressure - GONE! 3. Arthritis - GONE! 4. Asthma - GONE! 5. Thyroid - GONE! 6. Kidney Function - BACK TO NORMAL! 7. Depression - GONE! 8. Hugs - AROUND ME, NOT ACCROSS ME! 9. and oh yeah, 172 pounds - GONE!!!!! Happy Anniversary to Me! Danette Open RNY 1/24/03 Dr. Marshall 344/168/144

Words can't say how happy I am for you today. It is beyond belief that you have lost that much weight so quickly. Like you I think the health issues are so much more important than the lbs but it wouldn't have happened without the weight loss.
