Amen Michelle! I had my surgery 1/28/03 and I am down 108 pounds. It has been a very challenging year but it has all been worth it! I have never felt better about me as I do right now. I look good and I have the best job in the world...I work for a surgeon that does gastric bypass surgeries. This is the most rewarding job I could have ever asked for...I love ever one of my patients because I have been where they are. Merry Christmas to all and a very wonderful new year as we begin our new lives! Kim
My one year will be January 23. I have gone from 270 pounds to 148 pounds, from a size 22 to a size 10. I have lost 122 pounds.
I'm so excited about life now. People are telling me now not to loose any more weight. That's something that I enjoy hearing.
I sell supplemental insurance for a living. It's amazing how people react differently to me now that I'm a normal size to when I was obese. The first time I went out calling on a new account, I was amazed at the reaction from the decision maker, a guy. It's all just too funny.
I agree with Michelle, it was a challenging year but all so very, very worth it. From juice, to baby food to eating anything I want. I would have never thought. I'm enjoying the new me and I'm excited about 2004.
It has been an awesome year for me! I am down 100lbs and my anniversary is the 13th of Jan. I am so excited to know that there will be no going back! I love the New me, and so does my husband. It's funny to see him always watching me, he picks out my clothes now, because he likes me to look sexy he says. I still find that funny, I'm not used to be considered sexy, but I love it! Have a wonderful New Year filled with new adventures. And remember to always dance!
but how did you get your animated faces and dancing men, I just love them. [email protected] Pre-op today and surgery next tuesday. Thanks, Patricia
Congratulations to everyone for being so successful during their first year. My one year anniversary will be on January 29th and to date I have lost 149 lbs. I started at 368 and am down to 219. I have not felt so good in I can't remember when. I am running circles around my husband and he just shakes his head and is amazed at all my new found energy. It is so great to be able to live life again.
Good luck to all you losers and I hope we all have another successful year at losing.

Hope everyone has had a good year since their surgery. It will be 1 year for me on January 20th and as of right now, I'm down 132 lbs. I have more energy than I thought possible. I forgot what it was like to buy clothes that I liked and not have to settle for what I could find to fit. Congratulations and good luck to all!
