I agree.... this is a great way to keep in touch and to really help others with questions and/or just a way to see this can be done and it is not the nightmare so many think it may be. Stay on tract and God Bless

Topic: 2 yrs. and feeling great!
yep, 2 yrs. today, and lost 170lbs! I have absolutely no regrets, but wish only to live as active and as full a life as I now can. My wife had the surgery 6 months ago, and has lost 67 lbs. She is looking great, and I am so proud of her. She had less complications than I after surgery, and being a women, she didn't complain as much as me!
I have met and spoke to many people either going in for or thinking about the surgery. I try to tell those going in to be ready for alot of pain and adjustment in the short term, but that after they notice their pant falling down, they will realize it was worth it. I tell those who are thinking about it, or are heavy or getting heavy, that do all they can now to not have to get the surgery. I think people feel that with all the celebrities getting it done, it must be a breeze. I tell them that it is major, like a heart transplant, and not to go into it lighty.
i have a lot of sag in my upper arms and a belly bag, but i will not go for a tuck job. i do wish to lose another 20 to 30 lbs, but my main goal is to stay stable at 190 to 210.

My stomach is stretched back out, and even worse I am hungry 30 minutes after eating, I can eat just as much as my husband does. I gained back 20 lbs from my low of 195 I am eating all the time, but am watching the fat and that is helping the weight come back off, I am back down to 208.5 My surgery was 1/21/02 and if I didnt star****ching the food again I would have been back at 400 lbs.

Topic: RE: thinking about having a tummy tuck
I been thinking about this tummy tuck. I'm happy with the wt loss. I'm uncomfortable with the flab and back pain. I'm not sure yet.
Topic: RE: thinking about having a tummy tuck
I really want a tummy tuck so bad but I'm not out far enough yet. I'm only out 9 months, but I can't wait until that time comes. But by all means fo for it. If we went through the WLS we can do this. Good Luck!
Topic: How do you feel in your new body?
I'm down 110lbs now, I've lost a whole person actually. Sometimes I forget how lite I am and bounce up and almost fall down, it so funny. I also feel shy sometime from all the attention I'm getting, my husband actually loves it. He has lost about 30lbs. I love shopping for clothes these days even though it's not alot because I'm 60lbs away from goal weight. It just feels good to almost be out of the plus size section. I think I look at myself in the mirror daily, just checking myself out and now I'm ready for a tummy tuck.
