Slow Cooker Hot Sausage with Peppers Bowl-Protein-Packed!
January 12, 2024Here is a delicious, bariatric friendly Hot Sausage with Peppers Bowl recipe for the slow cooker or pressure cooker using hot turkey sausage!
Let’s cut to the chase, where do you find hot turkey sausage?
I always hesitate to share a recipe if an ingredient might have limited availability. I realize some of you are in smaller towns or even other countries and things like this are not an option!
Sharing in this case, felt like the right thing to do. For those who have the privilege of finding Jenny-O® lean hot turkey sausage, this a Hot Sausage with Peppers Bowl is great recipe option for you.
If that is not the case for you, this recipe works great with another lean turkey sausage. Still not working? I would use a lean ground beef and play with some seasonings! Use turkey kielbasas sausage as another option. What I am sayin here is, the base of the recipe can work with other lean meats.
