#OH2017 Keynote Announcement: Rosie Mercado

Plus-sized model and VSG post-op, Rosie Mercado, will join the 2017 ObesityHelp National Conference as the Keynote Speaker on October 28th in Long Beach, California! Rosie will share how she learned to be "Fearless" in spite of being Fat-Shamed, Skinny-Shamed, and told to "jump off a bridge" and kill herself.

Rosie is best known for her work as a plus-size print and runway model, as well as starring in the reality television show Curvy Girls on NuvoTV and as a special correspondent on The Doctors and Dr. Phil on CBS.

At her highest weight of 410 pounds, Rosie decided that she needed to make changes in her life. Rosie had the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy and has lost 250 pounds!
