Plastic Surgery Consultations at OH2019!

There will be free private one-on-one plastic surgery consultations available to the 2019 ObesityHelp National Conference attendees on both Friday, October 4th and Saturday, October 5th. Consultations are done in a private room with the surgeon, so you can openly discuss your questions and concerns regarding excess skin after massive weight loss.

If you'd like to schedule a consultation, make sure you sign-up right away because the appointments fill up fast and there are a limited number of consults available. Consultations are available with Dr. Siamak Agha, Dr. J. Timothy Katzen, Dr. Rodrigo Munro-Wilson, Dr. Jaime S. Schwartz, and Dr. Jeffrey Umansky. The OH2019 Plastic Surgery Q&A Panel, Uncovering You, Plastic Surgery After WLS, will be on Friday, October 4th, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. This will be an interactive session, staff will bring the microphone to the audience so you can stand at your seat to ask your question of the panelist of your choice. The moderator and conference staff will help keep the Q&A moving so that we can try and get in as many questions as possible during the allotted time.

	Q&A Panelist: Dr. Siamak Agha Siamak Agha, MD, FACS, PhD is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of the Plastic Surgery Body Contouring Center that specializes in body contouring after bariatric surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons (OCSPS). Dr. Agha performs some of the highest numbers of body lift surgeries each year and has shared his expertise on numerous television shows and within national and international conferences. 	Q&A Panelist: Dr. J. Timothy Katzen J. Timothy Katzen, MD, FACS has made plastic surgery after massive weight loss the main focus of his practice. He has independently created novel and innovative reconstructive surgery techniques that minimize scars, maximize skin, and fat removal. Dr. Katzen has performed thousands of post weight loss procedures. Approximately 99% of Dr. Katzen’s weight loss patients have lost 100+ pounds. He has operated on patients who weighed over 800 pounds before bariatric surgery. 	Q&A Panelist: Dr. Rodrigo Munro-Wilson Rodrigo Munro-Wilson, MD is a plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic surgery and body contouring after massive weight loss. He is the director of Perfecta Plastic Surgery in Monterrey, Mexico. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and certified by the Mexican Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Munro-Wilson is experienced in circumferential and fleur-de-lis lipectomy, in addition to inner thigh lift and upper body lift. 	Q&A Panelist: Dr. Jaime Schwartz Jaime S. Schwartz, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon that was recruited to California as the Chief of Plastic Surgery for a large hospital system where he was tasked with creating a plastic surgery department with a focus on patients that have undergone gastric bypass. Dr. Schwartz is also a thought-leader and expert in Lipedema. He has diagnosed many women with Lipedema, presented his approaches of using Lymphatic Sparing Liposuction in conjunction with Lymphatic Sparing Body Contouring procedures. 	Q&A Panelist: Dr. Jeffrey Umansky Jeffrey Umansky, MD, FACS, graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, as a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his Doctorate in Medicine from UCLA. He was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, an honor to the top medical students across the country. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky has extensive training in all aspects of plastic surgery. He performs cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, breast, abdomen, as well as the rest of the body and post weight loss body contouring procedures.
