One of the most enjoyable parts of an ObesityHelp Conference is spending time together as a community and making memories with each other. At each ObesityHelp National Conference, we like to host a Meet & Greet Party on the first night of the conference to do just that! This year was no exception; on Friday night, there was a Costume Party with music and dancing.
A huge shout out of thanks to Platinum Sponsor PatchMD for sponsoring the Meet & Greet Costume Party! They have been an exhibitor at the conferences since 2014 and a sponsor since 2016. During the Costume Party, PatchMD's Barry Smeltzer, MPASm PA-C BCIP announced the PatchMD Giveaway Bundle Winner, a big congratulations goes out to Vera!
We'd also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful Meet & Greet volunteers that helped with decorations and badge verifications. Costume Party
At the Meet & Greet Costume Party, we held a costume contest with $700 worth of prizes awarded to the winning costumes. There were six costume contest categories, including Best Overall, Best Group, Best Duo, Scariest, Funniest, and Most Creative. We loved seeing all of the creative costumes! Before the night was over, we already heard about attendees that were planning their costumes for OH2020! We're excited to see them. Huge kudos to everyone that put so much creativity in their costumes.
It’s fantastic to see so many people laughing and having fun at the Meet and Greet; they are able to dress up if they wish to, and cut loose in a way that they may never have done before. The meet and greet night was Super Spooktacular!! What an amazing night with such a wonderful and supportive group of people! It was just so nice to be able to let all my stress go.
