OH2014 ObesityHelp Conference Clothing Exchange
June 7, 2014Clean out your closet for a good cause ! Give to fellow weight loss surgery patients at the Clothing Exchange at the 2014 ObesityHelp Conference. When our clothing sizes are changing so rapidly, it can be expensive to have clothes that fit. The Clothing Exchange will take place August 15-16 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in rooms 211 and 215 at the Manhattan Beach Marriott. You can drop off clothes, and "shop" throughout the day. Support Group Leader, Kathy Mitchell, will be there to help you!
For the Clothing Exchange, we ask the following:
- Please make sure all clothing is WASHED prior to drop off.
- If you can sort them into bags by size, that will be a big help.
- Exchange will open at 9:00 a.m.
- You don't need to bring clothing to be able to take clothing home.
- Please bring your own bags to transport your "treasures" home with you.
There is no extra charge for ANY of this! It is included as part of the conference. Stop by Rooms 211 and 215 at the Manhattan Beach Marriott to donate the clothes that you're ready to pass on to another community member. Your clothing donation will be appreciated and will go to another person making their way through their WLS journey. Don't leave empty handed, swap your clothes out for ones that fit you at your NEW size! This is a 100% FREE clothing exchange open to conference attendees. You don't have to donate to walk away with some new threads of your own. Happy shopping at our 2014 Clothing Exchange!
