"Every medical record started off, it said patient well groomed and observed to be morbidly obese. 100 feet maybe I would walk and my breath would be short and I would need to sit down. I couldn't climb stairs or just really do any of the things that I wanted to do. I walked in to Sartori after researching them on the Internet as well. I remember them saying "I don't understand your story and how you could be denied. We're here to help you, we will try." And I knew that I was in the right place and so from then on it was nothing but sheer determination and motivation on their part to get me approved. It will change your life forever. So I would say do it. Take the good with the bad. It is definitely worth it in the end. Now, I love being outside. I play with my neice and nephews and I go swimming. I teach water aerobics now at the gym which is fun and I can jog five miles and not worry about stopping which I never would walk five minutes."
