Irvine, CA. - Industry leaders who are committed to the fight against obesity attended an open discussion roundtable in Irvine, California on January 15, 2013.

The range of topics during the summit included:
- Healthcare reform and how Obamacare affects obesity coverage moving forward.
- Helping patients get the surgery through their insurance as well as fighting claims denials.
- Educational content discovery strategies that will improve the user experience on various websites.
- Greater support is needed for bariatric surgeons and centers who have demonstrated good patient care
