Can You Cross Your Legs?
February 15, 2016When we are morbidly obese or even overweight, one of the things we lose is the ability to cross our legs. Instead of being able to sit comfortably, with our legs crossed, many times we have to position our bodies like a pretzel. It is an ability that people that haven't struggled with excess weight take for granted. Being unable to cross our legs usually means we sit in an awkward manner that is uncomfortable. For WLS'ers, it is one of the most popular goals and non-scale victories.
The goal to "Cross my legs" is a popular goal in the ObesityHelp Goal System that OH members want to achieve and have accomplished! After our weight loss surgery, our legs reduce in size and the muscles become stronger so we are able to cross our legs with ease.
Is this one of your goals? Have you already achieved this?
