Since I switched to the new profile, my old notes were lost.
In short, I had Lap RNY on 5/2/06. My starting weight was 242 and I 'm barely 5'4" tall. I am a wife and mother of two beautiful kids. A boy(2) and girl (6). I am almost 9 months out and I have met my goal weight loss of 100 lbs. I am now resting at 138 lbs and I'm very happy. I do not want to lose anymore weight. I have increased my caloric intake and have added back into my diet whole wheat bread and extra veggies and fruits. I'm so happy I had this surgery. I just had my Gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago and I'm fully recovered praise GOD! I have been so blessed. I prayed for this surgery and the Lord has done everything I've asked him to do.
I am now a better mother and wife b/c of the changes I chose to make in my life. If you are thinking of having this procedure, all I can tell you is to research for yourself and make your own decision. God Bless!
