Hi everyone. I had my surgery on Thursday, May 2. They kicked me out of the hospital on Sunday, May 5. They didn’t give me any “leak test” but they did a sonogram on my legs to check for blood clots. I went back to the surgeon’s office on Tuesday the 7th to get the tube pulled out. The first 10 days just plain sucked. I felt sick and kept kicking myself for making the decision to have the WLS but thanks to the people in the group and one lady at the surgeon’s office, I was assured the feeling would pass within 2 weeks and it sure did. The only complaint I have now is I feel tired and weak and I seem to sleep on and off though out the day but I’m sure this will pass soon. I have an appointment with the surgeon in June and I will until then to check my weight. It will be interesting to see what 5 weeks will do. I just want to say thanks to everyone who sent email and post of encouragement. God Bless.
