Well it one year today since I had surgery. I'm feelng so much better..I'm able to do things I never dreamed I could a year ago..From going to store on my own the sinples things as cleanning myself..I have lost alittle over 140 lbs.. I have alot more to go but I am trying hard to keep on track.. Things are not always easy. Habits are hard to break. One thing I can not do sweets so that is not a problem. But when I get depressed out haits tend to come running back in mt life .I have to fight to stay away from the wrong foods. I'm gtting ready to have surgery on my left leg June 13 to remove exess skin and flab. I hope everythinggoes ok .to be hoest kinda scaired.. Will report again after surgery.. Angel signing off...Tammy is doing great! She went to the doctor and has lost 17 lbs in 2 wks. The doctor removed her staples and even though she has a lot of serous fluid oozing out of incision, there is no infection and all looks good. She went to visit her kids today in Culloden, WV and will be at her mom's for two more weeks. Tammy, your new life is underway and I hope it will be long and healthy! God bless, your angel returning to civilian life! Marilyn

Final Angel Report: Tammy is going home! She was released from the hospital today and is doing fine! Her back is still bothering her but she is on her way to a new life now. She is missing her kids because she has to stay with her mom for a few days until she is on her feet again. With her stamina and courage that won't be very long. Tammy, hang in there. It gets better each day. You will get stronger and lighter with each passing day and every day routines will be so much easier. God bless you and your wonderful mom, Jo Withers. Jo works with me and she has been such a "rock" for Tammy. Even though she is still in recovery from WLS herself, she has given the best anyone could to help her sweet daughter. Tammy and Jo you are cut from the same cloth.....a cloth that is strong and unique in it's fine quality. You deserve the best in life and I hope you get it. The journey is just beginning and our futures are going to be amazing! Angel signing off.......

Angel reporting....Tammy is doing fine. She is sitting up in bed and taking a few steps. She is having some liquids. I asked her to give me an update and she laughed and said "tell them I have a lot of lower back pain because of the bed and not being able to move. I want to pass gas!" Sounds like she is in a cheerful mood and will soon be on her way to freedom. Keep the faith, Tammy! It only gets better.

Angel Report: Tammy is doing great! She is still in CCU because they haven't got another bed right now. She is getting good care there. Dr. Bergstein is very pleased and he told her "you are a champion!" Wow! Tammy, he doesn't say that to everybody! Tammy is going to do fine. I can't wait to celebrate with Tammy. We will toast Dr. Bergstein (with water, of course!) Thanks to our Heavenly Father for His protection and I pray for all preops that God will protect them so that they can reach their heart's desires. Post ops, I thank God for all your experience and for caring enough to continue to post here and help others. I also thank Him for making our dreams come true. Thank you, Eric Klein, for this site!!!
