Kathy, I am now 3 days post surgery and recovering (slowly). It was painful and I am soooooooooooo glad the worst is over God willing. Thanks so much for your well wishes. and I will absolutely remember to drink and walk. Thanks again!

I just got off the phone with Kathy and she is doing great. She just sounds so wonderful. She has been up walking by herself, has kept the water down with no problems and is excited to be on the other side. Bobbi Ross

I am Kathy Major's Angel. I just posted a message but not sure I did it in the right place. She is out of surgery and doing fine. Had some difficulty with the pain and with breathing since she is on a c-pap machine. She will stay in recovery overnight just so they can keep an eye on her but I do understand she is now sleeping comfortably. She will be in her room tomorrow. I will keep everyone posted. Bobbi Ross

It won't be long for you now. I can not promise that this is an easy thing, But I can tell you. It is worth it. My life has changed so much since my WLS on June 20th, 2001. I am down 130 pounds. I feel 20 years younger and my husband Ed and I can do so many things together now. I no longer sit and watch on the side lines. I am again a part of my family. That is what makes it worth it, the discovery of life again. Good Luck to you. Heal fast the world is waiting on the new and improved you.

Hi! All, That's right-tomorrow is My Big Day!! I am busy running around, getting my house, car, and dogs clean, in preparation. It may be a while before I can get to it, again. Have yet to pack. Will be keeping busy, to pass time more quickly and be tired enough to get a few hours sleep tonight. Wake up time will be around 4am. I am very lucky to be the first case at 8am! My sister is coming down from NH tonight and will take me in, in am. She will also be with me when I come, home for the rest of the week- How blessed I am! My daughter, Maureen, who had her surgery in Feb, plans to come in to stay with me during day, while I am in the hospital. She will also be takeing care of my two dogs. Thanks, all for your pep talks and I will post, again ,when I get back home. Please keep up the prayers! Thanks Kathy
