NOW IS THE TIME FOR A 2 MONTH CELEBRATION. I FEEL ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. DOWN 40 POUNDS AND EXERCIZING WITH A TRAINER TWICE A WEEK. WALKING ALMOST EVERY DAY. STRENGTH AND ENERGY GETS BETTER AND BETTER EVERY DAY. I AMAZE MYSELF. THE INCHES ARE MELTING AWAY AND I AM LUCKY TO HAVE SAVED SOME FAVORITE CLOTHES FROM ANOTHER ERA. I HAVE MET TWO WONDERFUL PEOPLE THROUGH OH( MARY FROM LYNBROOK AND LISA FROM MERRICK.) MARY IS JUST 6 WEEKS AHEAD OF ME AND HAS BEEN BEYOND BELIEF WITH INFO, CARING, AND JUST BEING THERE. LISA IS OUT 18 MONTHS AND IS NOTHING LESS THAN AN IDOL AND A BUNDLE FULL OF ANSWERS. EVERY DAY IS BETTER THAN THE LAST .......I AM GOING TO BE WITH PEOPLE THIS WEEKEND WHO HAVE NOT SEEN ME SINCE THE WEEK BEFORE SURGERY. FIVE DAYS - SHOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE THEIR REACTIONS.....FIVE DAY WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE FOR GOLFING - OTHERS FOR DINNER AND JUST A LARGE GATHERING OF FRIENDS THAT LIVE FAR AWAY...... I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEIR FACES......I WILL POST AGAIN TO KEEP EVEYONE ABREAST OF MY JOURNEY........

It won't be long for you now. I can not promise that this is an easy thing, But I can tell you. It is worth it. My life has changed so much since my WLS on June 20th, 2001. I am down 130 pounds. I feel 20 years younger and my husband Ed and I can do so many things together now. I no longer sit and watch on the side lines. I am again a part of my family. That is what makes it worth it, the discovery of life again. Good Luck to you. Heal fast the world is waiting on the new and improved you.

This is only the beginning of a wonderful treasure hunt. You ask me what is this great treasure? "Will it make me happy?" You ask. Oh, let me tell you it is something so wonderful and will be better than you have ever dreamed of. "What is it you ask?" It is the new healthier you. It will give you opportunities you have only dreamed of and ability to do things with loved one you have yearn for. I am so happy for you. Heal fast. Your new you is waiting for you.
