9 years and counting

Hi all, it has been a very long time since I even logged into BAF, how I have missed this site.   I logged in because ObesityHelp sent me a Happy Anniversary on my 9th year weightloss email.   I almost forgot.  Some of you might know me, most of you might not.   It has been 9 short years in my opinion, but I am still doing the doggone thing.   I have only gained about 7 pounds in the 9 years of surgery.   I want to lose that also.   My current weight was 425 in the beginning.   My weight fluctuates between 195-199 by itself.  Right now it is 212, which I need to get these extras off, but i am on steroids at this time.   My body does it on its own.   I STILL throwup and get sick if I eat things I shouldn't.   I still CANNOT stop the one bite overeating.   I am STILL in therapy and probably always will be, but overall, I AM SOOOOO HAPPY.   I wear a size 12-14, depending on who makes the outfit.   I dont know how to update my profile at all on here, but eventually I will put some new pictures on here soon.  I couldn't be happier.   I STILL follow my rules.

I drink my water, eat protein first and NO Sugar, etc.   I guess those rules are embedded in my head.   I do have some bad habits, but I often pay for them.   I just wanted to say Hi to the old timers and encourage all of thenewcomers.   Stay strong and follow your rules.

That is very encouraging for me.   Since I am only 7 months out, it is nice to see someone keeping it off.

Way to go

Wow the 2nd post from a vet who is doing the darn thing after a number of years.  The common thread is a respect for the RULES.  I hear you loud and clear (making a mental note to self) :)  Congrats on your 9th year!
