1ST POST OP VISIT TODAY

 I had my first appt. with my doctor today. He was very pleased with my results. I am down 25 pounds, and feeling great. Bad news- LIQUID DIET TEN MORE DAYS!!!! Wondered how much less I will weigh once I've chewed my arm off, lol. Jess

Be happy it's only 10 days. Had you had my surgeon it would have been a month of liquids, and then a month of mushies (soft food!). I'm 10 days away from mushies and can't wait! LOL

oh Jessica, I remember how hard it was. You just have to keep your eyes on the end goal a new smaller healthier you. P.S I only think your arm weighs about 2lbs so keep it.

lol that's funny about the arm!! I am sure it's hard (havent had to do it yet)  but I am sure its all for the best! Try to be strong you can do it!!! I wish you strength and good luck for the 10 days extra!!! 

 You guys are right, I will keep the arms, at the rate that the weight is coming off I might be able to reach a couple of toes though, lol.

Sorry I'm gonna miss the meeting tomorrow.  We had to come up to Glen Rose to take my father in law back up to his car.  I'll be there for the next one!

Hi Jessica! I haven't been on top of things here so I'm so glad to hear things are going well for you. I'm having tons of mixed emotions about going ahead with the VSG surgery so I've been looking all over the internet and then trying to sort out my feelings....
Congratulations to you! And hopefully these next 10 days will go fast for you.
