I got approved and I have a date.

My coordinator called today to tell me I got approved. She also let me schedule a date. May 2nd it is. I am so excited, yet scared at the same time. I am nervous about the whole going under again. I have been under too many times to count it seems. I meet with the nutritionist next week. I am hopng to lose me pre-op weight 8-10 lbs (required) on my own. That means no liquid diet for 2 weeks, only 3-4 days prior to the surgery. I have lost some of it but I got a littl more to go. My goal for presurgery is 235 but the doc only requires 239-241.

 That's so exciting. You have a date for May 2nd and you don't have to do the whole 2 weeks liquid diet. Lucky you. He is a great doctor. He is doing my surgery too. I just haven't figured out how to change him on my profile yet. Mine is on 4/6. So good luck to you. I'll save you a spot on the losers bench. And don't worry about your weight loss. I lost this much on his south beach diet and then liquid diet in two months. you'll make it.
