Surgical Weight Loss at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital
First impression of Dr LePort was good, he seemed like a person who cares about his patients. rnMy impression never changed, his office staff are pleasant and caring. rnHe has many year of expeirence as by researching you will find out for youself.rnHe addresses all areas and risks of surgery and explains everything involved. rnDr LePort was great, after surgery and during the time I was in ICU he came to see me 5 times and explained what was going on with me body.
I like him and felt very confortable with him.rnStill like him.rnThe staff is very caring, helpfull and supportive.rnThere was nothing I did not like.rnHe is very nice.rnHe is very strict on your after care.rnYes he does have a structured aftercare program.rnHe was very clear at explaining the risks of surgery.rnI would rate him Highly.rnBoth are good.
At first i thought Dr.Leport was rude because i felt rushed but then i realized that he must be a very busy man. After my surgery, he would come into the hospital room every day to check up on me. I felt more comfortable with him and felt ok to ask him any question. I liked that he would take his time and answer everything. His staff was wonderful too. They made me feel comfortable all the time. I've seen him about 3 times since my surgery and he's been very caring. I'm glad i chose him to perform my surgery.
The staff is wonderful, very sensitive and patient. The hospital was clean, bright and very well equiped for large persons. They allowed my husband to spend two nights with me and it was a tremendous help. I loved every staff member I was in contact with, from the surgical team to the floor staff. They were reassuring and sensitive. Wonderful experience!
I can best decribe him as confident without being arrogant, friendly. rnI still like him. I also feel safe and well cared for by him and his office.rnHis program is very comprehensive. You may not see him until all your ducks are in a row, but his support staff and groups make their process efficiant and informative.rnThe after care appreas to be conprehensive. I'm just out of the hospital.rnI was WELL informed about everything. In fact, their was lots of overlap and repeating of important.rnA+rnEverything has been great.
The bed was horrible and the bed they replaced it with was equally as bad. No rings on top to aid with sitting or repositioning yourself in bed. Bed was short. I'm 5'4" and my feet touched the end of the bed. Controls to position the bed were on the rail which were impossible to reach when lying down. The nursing staff was friendly & tried to help but no other beds were available.
