Georgetown Community Hospital (COE) Hospital

This is the place you want to go for medical care if you can. Concern folr the patient is what they are about.

The fact that it had a bariatrics wing was important to me. The nurses and aides were very caring and responsive to my needs in a timely manner. The pre-op testing staff were all courteous and efficient, as were the admissions staff. I am highly impressed with the overall quality of the hospital and its employees.

Very clean. People were very nice and waiting for test or even the surgery was not long at all.

I had some complications, so I had to come back in thru ER and that was the fastest/smoothest experience of my life. As a nurse, I usually have a low opinion of most hospitals. However, I would trust this hospital for any of my medical needs. Wonderful disposition of employees. Team atmosphere. Everywhere on bulletin boards were posted QI achievements and goals and it appeared the approach to the business of hospital was more like one of a family. I never felt that in any of the hospitals I have woriked in.

The anesthesiologist assigned to my case, Dr. Michael Goodwin, treated me so poorly that I truthfully cannot put my comments in print.

The staff at the hospital is very competent and supportive. Medically I have no issues with the hospital, the support or staff.

I would recommend this hospital and staff to anyone. They are very loving and caring professionals.

I they told me I had to go back and do it again, I would ask, "What time do you want me there?" Everyone was and still is great. I don't mind driving back for return visits because everybody is just SUPER!!!
