Georgetown Community Hospital (COE) Hospital
I had several issues with pain medication ad my equipment was not working properly. I had a family member who is a nurse and my mother called her to come help me and she was the savior. Her and Dr. Bolar. There is nothing bad I could say about Bolar. He is top in his field. This is why I never complained to hospital about there issues. I was so happy to have Dr.Bolar I felt it was worth it. I hear Dr. Bolar left georgetowm....Good move Dr. Bolar
The hospital is small, but they are certainly equipped to handle anything that may come along. In my case, I had to come back to the ER for some high fever post-op, and one of my surgeons met me and talked with me for a moment, very late in the evening on a Saturday, which I thought was very comforting. They take the time to assess your own personal needs, and make you feel like you come first. The Bariatric Program kind of brings everyone together, and you will never feel like a stranger around anyone there. Great Staff!
Everybody was great! My Bariatric proceedure was not the only surgery I have had there. I have also had 3 other foot surgeries there in 2002 and for all of my experiences there, I was treated outstanding. I also have five small children and that is where I would take them if I they needed to be hospitalized.
Very good now, will be even better once the new Bararatic Wing is completed. The hospital just keeps getting better and better. They have a great after care program and we not only have monthly support group meetings, but daily on-line support 7 days a week. Group activities like bowling, hiking, casino's and cruises. There is something to do monthly outside of the support groups. You can do as much or as little with the group that you like. But one thing is for sure, they inherit you for life and they stand behind what they say. I know that I have been very blessed by choosing this Hospital and I want to tell the world what a wonderful place it truely is.......no lie!
