if you want a state of the art hospital with the charm of a small hospital this is the hospital for you. not once did i feel that they wouldn't be able to handle anything that came about. the floor staff is wonderful as well as the surgical staff.

I live in Louisville and have delt with hospitals here. I could have gone to one of them for surgery but drove an hour and a half away because I found Georgetown to be a very patient oriented hospital. Everyone was friendly, caring and professional. No one seemed to be "just going through the motions." The head nurse in ICU, Pam Green (I think) was especially fantastic. The second day after surgery was scary and a little lonely with no visitors but she reassured me and made sure that I was well taken care of.

Georgetown is a small, friendly and caring hospital with very professional staff. Would like to see the food in the cafeteria upgraded a bit.

No long waits for anything. Very responsive staff. Everything from pre-op testing through the actual surgery was handled in the most professional and caring manner.
