Bothwell Regional Health Center Hospital

Everything about the hospital was excellent. The only problem I had was a noisy neighbor, and my room was right by the nurses station, so I didn't get as much sleep as I would like to have had.

I felt the surgery was great, the nurses were not. I knew going in that I was a "lightweight", but at every turn, I received comments from the nursing staff about how I didn't need this surgery and that I was the smallest patient ever bypassed at this facility. They were slow to respond to calls and even slower to respond to needs...the night nurses the first night were great, I can't remember all their names, but Casey sticks out. I really appreciated her. Overall, not surprised about the care, but definitely not impressed!

Bothwell Medical is very clean and has the most caring people I have ever met. Even the anetheasiologist was terrific and tried to anticipate any special needs I would have. I highly reccomend this facility, it is a special place.

the only thing i feel could be a minus for the hosp.is the rooms are small and i have a adversion to small compact rooms

I think the staff that handles the patients after and before surgery do a fantastic job..i am not easily impressed, but they all impressed me.

I enjoyed my stay there. The nurses were great. Courtney, Joyce and Terry, thank you so much. You all were so professional yet you make the patient feel respected and cared for in such a wonderful way.

Place was unstaffed. This led to IV being off and empty for 2 hours ... also, staff was not attentive to emptying catherder (forgive sp) bag ...

I have not had surgery yet, but I am having surgery in Dec.2004. I am unable to stand which poses a big problem at most places I have to go. I was very impressed with Bothwell Hospital, they treated me with the upmost respect and concern. The pre-op testing nurses and technicians where so friendly and eager to make me comfortable. 12-10-04 I am now 4 daays post-op and my experience at Bothwell was wonderful!!!!!!!

They treated me wonderful. They allowed someone to stay in my room. They helped with anything I needed and gave lots of encouragement.

Well, I felt that I had WONDERFUL care in the CCU, but it went downhill fast when I went to the main recovery floor. I used the call button (I was a fall hazard) and NO ONE came to help me to the restroom. So here I was, hours out of the CCU, dragging my IV pole, trying to use a walker and get to the bathroom. I even pulled the emergency pull in the bathroom and no one every came. Finally the PT people came to take me and I said I needed a nurse, they went back and told the nurses who STILL never came. This was just ONE of the bad experiences I had up there.
