DR. CURRY rn MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF HIM WAS HOW YOUNG HE WAS . BUT AS WE TALK I KNEW THAT I FOUND THE PERSON THAT COULD HELP ME LIVE A LONGER AND HAPPIER LIFE. I WAS GETTING TO PLACE THAT ALL I COULD DO WAS GO WORK MY 8 HOURS AND COME HOME . AND ON THE WEEKENDS I WOULD DRIVE MY HUSBAND PLACES AND SIT IN THE CAR AND WAIT ON HIM. I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE WALKING . AFTERCARE PROGRAM IS THE BEST. BEING WITH PEOPLE THAT UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M GOING .rn IF THERE ANYONE THINKING ABOUT HAVING THIS OPERATION YOU SHOULD MAKE IT A POINT TO VISIT AND TALK WITH DR. CURRY . rnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrn
My first impression of Dr. Curry was that he was very young and dressed well. I grew to find him very approachable and extremely knowledgable. He put me at ease with having the surgery. The staff at Deaconess is very friendly and you are always able to ask for help. Overall, Dr. Curry is an excellent doctor.
I initially had another surgeon, but heard so much about Dr. Curry, so I met with him and switched that day. He truly is an amazing person. He is there night and day for anything you need. The surgery went so smoothly and I'm on my way to a new life. Dr. Curry and his entire staff are so caring, and I can't stress how much they truly are there for you. They have great interactive tools for WLS patients. They have a great website, for tracking you weight, sending them messages, you can see your past appointments. So many options. Truly amazing. We are all lucky to have such a great person/surgeon in our area!! His number one priority and concern is definately his patients.rnrnCrystal Zwerling
He is easy to talk to if you have a quetion for him you can e-mail him and he answer it very quickly.rnIf you think somethings not right if you call he gets you right in to see him.rnAs far as cutting you, . I find that glueing & butterflies you together isn't such a good ideal, reason being is I'm fat, glue doesn't hold fat people together very well so it came open I'm 4 weeks out and not healed.I hear that all Dr. just glues & butterflies. But I would go to him again in a heart beat he's very nice.
My mother and I could tell the first moment we met Dr. Curry that he was a kind, genuine person who really cared about his (and other doctor's) patients. Dr. Curry took over my care after I had an obstruction and I only wish I had met him three or four surgeries ago. rnEven though he had not been my initial lap-band doctor he and his staff took me right in and were as kind and caring as could be and just acted as if they'd been my care providers all along. He offered me after care at this office and reoffered and reoffered as did his dietician, giving me her email and telephone number. rnrnDr. Curry was very straight up with me about my surgery and as far as I can tell his surgical competence is excellent and his bedside manner is above and beyond that. He has 10 by 14 pictures of his kids in his patient rooms, they're beautiful and really give a glimpse into his humanity. rnrnI'm beyond impressed.rnSincerely,rnKaye Tyler Fish
Dr. Curry and his staff make you feel welcome to their practice and treat you as part of their \"team\" from the very beginning. Dr. Curry has an innate ability to determine your level of understanding of the weight loss procedures he performs and then explains the details in a fashion that is neither overly complex nor insulting to your intelligence. He is passionate about the gastric lap band procedure and the benefits it offers to patients. That passion is demonstrated by his participation in various internet forums. He is extremely accessible to his patients, as well as those patients who post questions for him to answer online. Most surgeons are notorious for their egos, however, Dr. Curry seems to have \"checked his at the door\" when it comes to patient interactions.rn
