Before surgery I was always tired and felt like I had no energy. I hated getting dressed everyday. After my lap band surgery, I feel fabulous! I have so much energy and I want to exercise! Before weight loss surgery everything was an effort. I hated getting up for work. In my mind I thought I looked OK, but would be horrified to see myself in a photo or passing a mirror in a store. I had bypass surgery about 5 years ago and initally I lost over 130lbs! I felt great, but over time the weight started to come back. My hunger returned and I was eating a lot more than I shoudl have. All my hardwork was disappearing. I was so depressed. Then I attended an online revision seminar hosted by Dr. Garber. He explained that over time my stomach punch can stretch and I can lose the restiriction I once had. I was so relieved to find out that there are others out there like me and that I have options! Through some tests Dr. Garber determined that I am a candidate for revision surgery or band over bypass. It has been a year since then and the weight is coming off. I feel I have my control back.
