I can Honestly say that Dr. Lyudmila Pupkova is one of the best bariatric surgeons you will ever find, and believe me I have done my research. Not only is she a perfectionist in what she does, but she also is the most caring and loving person you would ever want to meet. The aftercare is unbelievable, whenever you need her she will be there for you no question about it. So If you are looking for a surgeon with an outstanding bedside manner and a personality to match then you have found her. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I had my initial consult with Dr. Pupkova and she gave me a feeling of confidence. She is extremely educated and knows what she is doing. I am happy to have her as my surgeon.rn

My first impression of Dr. Pupkova was that she seemed very approachable and down to earth, she gave us an informative presentation of the two different procedures, being interrupted many times to answer questions which never bothered her in the least. She made it perfectly clear that this is a tool and that the key to it lies in our desire to succeed and stick with doing the right thing within utilizing it. After the consult I was able to go upstairs to the patient area, where I met with a patient that had invited me to visit with her, someone I had met here on OH. While visiting with her I was able to see the doctor interact with her patient and once more, I was sure she is the doctor I want for my procedure. She is very caring about her patients, even to giving them her own cell phone number when they are leaving to go home after surgery. The staff at Barix was friendly and my overall impression of the facility and people working there was that it is first rate.

THE BEST THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY!!! SHE IS LIKE FAMILY THE CARE HAS BEEN WONDERFUL. SHE HAS CALLED ME EVERYDAY SINCE I HAVE BEEN HOME TO CHECK ON ME. THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE SO FAR HAS BEEN FANTASTIC!!

After meeting with Dr. Pupkova I felt the most comfortable I have ever felt with a medical doctor. She was understanding and considerate. I think it was her hug that warmed me over.

I really felt confident after meeting with Dr. Pupkova. She is straightforward, knowledgeable and honest. I feel safe having her as my surgeon. She is very hands-on. I am looking forward to the sugery!

Dr.Pupkova did my surgery on 6/2005 and I have lost 100 pounds.I thank God every day for leading me to this special,caring doctor.I didn't know doctors like her existed anymore-she is so passionate about what she does-and each person is important to her.She took my case after another doctor said it was too complicated-she said \"how could I not take your case-I can see how important it is to you-if it gets complicated,we'll deal with it\"As it turns out,it was quite complicated and she proceeded through with it--I know others would not have-it took 5 hours!She is now on her own and I encourage anyone looking for the best,warmest and most caring doctor to do their surgery to call her-it's the best call you'll ever make!!!!!

'Dr. Pupkova is great! She is warm and supportive and highly skilled. I had a lap band many years ago before they were even approved (I was a guinea pig) and had it removed. So I had much scar tissue in my abdomonal cavity.rn Another surgeon in her (former) group told me that if he had too much difficulty because of the scar tissue

My initial thought of Dr. Garrison was that he had a positive aura. I didn't feel any negative energy from him at all. I was very comfortable. I have a problem with individuals that can't look me in the eye, and he was able to do that without any problem. He was very honest in his approach, which is appreciated. I don't like anything that is "sugar-coated". His office staff was very nice and very professional. I was in and out in about an hour and a half, which was excellent. In addition I had the opportunity to talk to his post-ops in the waiting room, which I also enjoyed doing. Since this was the initial consult I can't say anything negative as of yet. You have to see a lot of doctors, before you can even think about seeing him again, which I consider a good thing. He also promotes focusing on good health habits prior to the surgery which is also excellent. I am getting excited about starting this journey. And oh boy it will be a journey!
