I will be having my surgery done by Dr. George Zorn of Pacific Bariatric Surgical Medical Group in San Diego, CA. My first impression of him.....um, I liked him right away. I had to attend a seminar/lecture given by PBSMG before I'd even finished my classes. He was the speaker and his easy manner and approachability is what got me. When I had my pre-surg consult with him, he was very nice and made me feel oh so safe! He was not rushed or ho-hum about anything or any of my questions. I think he is the best choice for me! More to come....
POST-OP InformationrnDr. Zorn continues to be a great doctor, listener and just there for you. Dr. Zorn has a professional and personal bedside manner that makes it easy to go through the procedure from beginning to end. Dr. Zorn, the other doctors and staff at Pacific Bariatric are very easy to be comfortable around and to talk to. Pacific Bariatrics provides a monthly seminar at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel near Disneyland each month. The seminar details the gastric bypass and other surgeries as well as the pros and cons. The doctor providing the presentation sticks around after the presentation in case anyone wants to ask questions. All of Pacific Bariatric doctors are great and they rotate in conducting the monthly seminars.rnI will try to create some flyers to display at the monthly seminar for those interested in joining a pre-op and/or post-op Support Group. Good luck in all your future endeavors!rnrnPRE-OP InformationrnrnI met Dr. Zorn for the first time at the Pacific Bariatric Annual Reunion in San Diego on April 27, 2007. Dr. Zorn is a patient doctor who has listened, responded to questions and made time for me. His office staff is very very helpful. I don't have any dislikes for Dr. Zorn. rn
Dr. Zorn is a cool fellow, but quite friendly, obviously knowledgeable and very competent. I like him a lot and I am glad he did my surgery. If I were to do it over I would use him. Very good with follow up and after care. Personality is a variable for all of us and each needs to find simply a competent surgeon. Dr. Zorn is that kinda guy.
Dr. Zorn is very nice, i was very comfortable with him right from the start. The office staff is also very pleasant and on the ball about everything. I already knew I wanted him for my surgery because he did my sisters Roux-en-Y last year. She couldn't say 1 thing negative about him it was all good. I have to say, she was right he's great. We like him so much that he will also be doing my mom's and my other sisters surgeries too.
