I LOVE Dr. WilHelmy ,Dr Campos, Dr. Beltran and everyone there! I went to have my sleeve redone by Dr. Wilhelmy and was so impressed with everything. I saw my sleeve before surgery and saw my sleeve after surgery. Such a big difference! I feel this huge relief that I now have this great sleeve that will help me lose my extra weight. Everyone at the hospital was wonderful I had such great care and everyone was so nice and helpful. I recommend this group to anyone wanting to get a sleeve that actually works ! These doctors know what they are doing and will give you the best sleeve to work with.

I am happy to recommend the good doctor and all his medical personnel. I had gastric sleeve surgery and Dr Wilhelmy met all my expectations and exceeded them. The hospital, the nurses, everything was better than expected. Compassion and skills what more can one desire from a surgical experience? 5 stars!!

My surgery was June 14, 2014. Dr. Aceves was awesome. I had a hernia so he had to repair that first before the VSG. I was already in Mexico, instead of cancelling my surgery, he repaired the hernia and removed about 85% of my stomach. Now I am not sure what that really meant to me for long-term success but I think I have a tighter restriction than most. The reason is and I most likely am wrong is because I still can only get about 4 to 5 oz. a meal down and sometimes less. Depends on the day. Dr. Campos and Mexico Bariatric staff have been great to me. Nina, Carla, everyone. Since Dr. Aceves passing however, I’m not sure and to their credit I haven’t asked yet but I need to find a forum where I can go and ask questions that is a closed group because I am a very private person and don’t use social media for my own issues. I want to discuss something’s with other patients who are going through the same thing or VSG as I. Ok enough of that. This review is about the wonderful care of Dr. Aceves and his staff and I would recommend anyone to the new Doctors and Dr. Aceves staff any given day!! They are so professional and caring of you, the individual!

This is a great experience as far as I am concerned. Dr. WILHELMY IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL. I had a lap band revision to sleeve done on the 12 of November. I am a 73 year old female and I have healed great. I am 10 days out and feeling fine. Everyone heals at a different rate. I had a few issues with the lap band but am very comfortable with the sleeve. As soon as I can regain some more strength I will be hard to keep down. I lost my husband 31 days ago and am doing this in his honor as we were going to Mexico to have this done when he became extremely ill. Bless all the Dr s and nurses along with Yolanda, Nina and many others. I love them all ! Dr. CAMPOS is a champ.

An unbelievable experience . Professional, caring and above all answered all questions with honesty and an extreme level of medical knowledge . Felt at ease and comfortable. Dr Ungson and his surgical partner Dr Beltran and well as the anastheiologist were amazing. Do your research but I found none better.

5 months and 50 lbs lighter! I had a wonderful experience with Dr Wilhelmy and my sleeve surgery , this has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I cannot say enough about everyone at Mexicali Bariatrics. I spend 3 nights at the hospital and drove back the following morning actually sad to be leaving these great individuals.

Dr. Wilhelmy is a kind and compassionate surgeon. Dr. Campos, Beltran, Dr. Lomeli, Carla , Nina and Yolanda, thank you for the attention I received. I swear seems like you never go home! My 4 days at Almater hospital were more like a mini vacation, very little discomfort and lots of resting LOL. The hospital is spotless and the care was superb, I sincerely appreciate all you did for me and my wife. I am just over my liquid diet and about to move on, I have lost 11 lbs since surgery and feel great! I miss the hospital broth, we could not manage to duplicate it even with the recipe you gave me.

I had a revision from band to sleeve done 3 years ago. It did not work for long. I called Mexicali Bariatric Center, sent images and I scheduled my ReSleeve for the following month. I had complete faith Dr. Wilhemy and the doctors in Mexicali. Communication was smooth and I felt confident they had the experience to help me with my 3rd weight loss surgery. I was not disappointed! I have lost 40 lbs in 6 weeks and have finally felt what my original sleeve should have felt like. I want to thank Dr. Wilhelmy and all the team at MBC for giving me this real effective sleeve to work with. With God's help I plan on being at goal weight this time next year!

Dr. Ungson is incredible. There are no words to tell you how compassionate and caring he is as well as his team. The facility in Mexicali was immaculate and surpassed any expectation I had. Dr. Ungson met with me before my surgery and explained the procedure. He went over the process in great detail and any possible complications as well as what he would do in those situations. When he was speaking, he spoke with such compassion and joy, along with such confidence. He allowed me to ask questions and clarify my thinking. I have never experienced such a personable doctor before. At one point we were talking about his daughter and life. He was very easy to talk with. I almost forgot he was a doctor and not my lifelong friend because it felt like I was talking to my life long friend. When I woke up from surgery, he was there to explain I had a hiatal hernia and that he repaired it while in surgery. He came in the next day to check on me and we even got a picture together! Still to this day, I email his team and ask questions and they respond almost instantly with advice and recommendations. I have had NO COMPLICATIONS from the surgery and the scars are very small and cut so perfect! The only regret I have is not doing it sooner. In a heartbeat I would do it all over again and I would only do it with Dr. Ungson and his team. From the bottom of my heart, I am grateful for him, his steady hands and the art of his craft. After researching him and his facility for several months, and actually going to Mexico for the surgery, without a doubt I can say he and his team are truly the best. There is NOT a better surgeon to preform weight loss surgery!!!

I love everyone at Mexicali Bariatric Center! Recommend them to all who will listen! I drove from Las Vegas to Mexicali to have my sleeve done by this excellent surgeon and was met with the entire team of doctors, nurses and coordinators that treated me like a human being. I was scared and nervous and second guessing my decision. They put my mind at ease and took very good care of me during my 5 day stay. My nephew had just had his sleeve with Dr Wilhelmy and I followed! He will write his review too. Thank you Dr. Wilhemly , Thank you Dr. Campos, Thank you Dr Beltran, I will be seeing you soon with my husband for surgery.
