This was the second time that I met with Dr. Bauman. He hasn't changed from the first time that I met him. He is straight forward and to the point. I truly believes that he cares for you as if you are his only patient. He stresses how important it is to be commited to losing way, following up with all of your appointments, making sure that you achive optimal results. rnHis office staff is very patient. I know that I have bugged them with all of my questions. Everytime they tell me what I want to know and they do it in a pleasant way. I guess they have been working there for so long and they are use to people calling all of the time so they understand. rnOverall I would rate Dr. Bauman at superior. He has made every effort to make you feel comfortable as soon as you enter thr front doors. I mean with the decor of the furniture you know that he has given careful thought into making you feel comfortable. He provides access to the computer so that you can research, fill out your forms, or utilize other tools that are available on line. rnI would recommend Dr. Bauman to anyone who is thinking about having WLS.

I thought Dr. Gersin did a fine job. I met with him twice before surgery.

My first impression of Dr. B. is that he is very informative and really knows what he is doing. He is confident in the procedures he performs as long as the paitent is willing to follow through and use this tool the way it is meant to be used. He is very through in giving you all the facts about the surgery and after care. He has a great nutrition program located in the same office for followup care for the first year. I think he has a great bedside manner. He answered all of our questions and listened to our concerns. I recommend him to anyone looking to have this surgery. And his office staff is wonderful!!

My first impression of Dr. Kuwada was that he was very knowledgeable and made both my husband and I feel very comfortable. He made sure that we knew the risks. I had my surgery on 1/15/07. It was the best thing that I have ever done for myself. What impressed me most was when Dr. Kuwada called me the night before my surgery to make sure that I did not have any questions and to make sure that I was ready. While in the hospital Dr. Kuwada and Dr. Chen were wonderful.

Dr. Keith Gersin and his staff proved to be unbelievably professional, sensitive, attentive, and responsible. As a morbidly obese patient seeking weight loss surgery information, I can honestly say that from the moment I made the appointment for the pre-informational focus group, through the insurance approval process, and into the mandatory support group meetings, I have been extremely impressed.rnrnOverall impression:rn rnDr. Gersin is not going to win any bubbly-personality contests (thank God.) He has a \"dryish\" sense of humor, and a very non-arrogant demeanor. I believe he has described himself as a \"simple country surgeon.\" He explains procedures and scenarios using terms that are appropriate for his audience. He does not \"dumb-down\" or patronize his patients, and \"shoots from the hip\"...I personally appreciate his honest & direct approach. He really seemed to be interested in me as a person, not just a candiate for surgery. Bedside manner was appropriate and perfect for me personally; not annoyingly-exciting or fake/flashy, just factual and friendly. The phrase \"grounded and down to earth\" comes immediately to mind.rnrnIf you are looking for the sterotypical surgeon (flashy clothes, flashy car, etc.), Dr. Gersin is not your guy.rnrnIf you are looking for one of the most competent, successful, and trusted bariatric surgeons in the country, then Dr. Gersin is your guy. He's the guy I am trusting my life with. Enough said! :)

Dr. Kuwada is a wonderful surgeon, from the first time I met him I felt confortable he took his time talking to me and my husband he explain all the procedures in detail. Over time my opion change to the better. I will highly recomend Dr. Kuwada to anyone. His office schedule all your appointments the only appointment that you will need to set up yourself if the physic evaluation but he refers a Dr. that his office use. Dr. Kuwada is an excellent surgeon that knows his job. I felt that following his pre and post diet has help me a lot. Dr. Kuwada and his staff are were great from day one. I have no regrets I would put my self in his hands if necessary thats how much I trust him and his staff.

Dr.B. is very knowlegable. He explains everything and makes sure I understand it all too.

I attended the required seminar from this group. Dr. Kuwada was the presenter. He was very clear and concise. I was impressed with his ease and confidence. What I liked most was his display of patience and understanding.rnrnHe did not seem to make light of any of the potential side effects. He was very through in explaining, with graphics, each surgery offered. rnrnEvery encounter since has been much the same as above. He always seems to have all the time in the world to address any concerns.rnrnI am very confident I have chosen the right surgeon.
