Tara - my surgeon said I could handle a lost of 15 - 20 lbs. without
leaving any sagging skin after my abdominoplasty. I would guess 40 lbs.
would leave with some sagginess. As far as pain - boy, we are all so
different. Many people have felt the abdominoplasty was no big deal. I
thought it was much, much more painful than my WLS and it took me longer to
recover from it. I had an incisional hernia repaired at the same time.
