Question:
50 grams of Protein in Isopure?
I've seen several people mention Isopure as a protein supplement. When I looked at the nutritional information on the product, it says that one serving has 50 grams of protein in it.
Am I mistaken, or isn't the most protein we can absorb at any one time 30 grams? And if that's the case, then isn't 50 grams a waste?
I hope someone can clear this up for me, because if I CAN absorb more than 30 grams at once, I'm going to up my intake per sitting. — webgrrlie (posted on June 6, 2001)

Yes, the 30g rule still applies. TO NORMIES. There is always the question
as to whether we can absorb even that much. These products are designed
for athletes, so they are designed for someone who can burn 3000 cal while
watching TV. That would NOT be us. So, if you take in more, you might
consider it a waste of money
