Do you measure food by weight or volume?

I measure by volume since my pouch was made 2 oz in volume...JR

I was told to measure by volume. Measuring by weight just wouldn't work
with some foods that are lighter in weight. For example, if I went by
weight I could probably eat and entire bag of microwave popcorn or maybe a
whole bag of rice cakes or perhaps an entire bag of puffed cheetos.
Anyway, you get the idea. And besides, I am making myself hungry. HA HA!
Good luck!

I measure by volume. I am never supposed to eat more than 1/2 cup of food
at any one time. The one thing that I do not have to measure is lettuce
because it is mostly water and chews down to mush in your mouth. So, I will
have a nice salad, say about 1/2 to 3/4 of a cereal bowl full then I have
my protein and veggies but no more than 1/2 cup of those. I of course
concentrate on eating the protein first before the salad.

I measure dense foods like meat, fish and cheese by weight (2 or 3 ounces
per serving) because it's difficult to measure these by volume, and 1/2 cup
of dense food is way too much. 1/2 cup of veggies, fruit, cottage cheese,
yogurt, etc. is easy to measure and a volume that I can handle.

I'm like Vespa, the meats are measured on a weight scale. I don't measure
anything else. As long as I get in the 3 or 4 oz of meat protein, any left
over room is for a veggie and/or bite or two of carb.

Same here. I weigh out however many oz of meat I am going to eat, and
backfill whatever room I have left over with veggies or salad.
