Question:
I am drinking Isopure No Carb - 40 grams protein in 20 oz liquid
Besides counting this as protein, can I also count it toward my water intake? — mama kay K. (posted on September 2, 2003)

Hi, from everything I have read anything you drink (with the exception of
caffeinated beverages) count toward your liquid intake. There have been
several reports that say fluid is fluid unless it has caffeine then you are
working against yourself. Good Luck Reace

Doubt you should count that as water - but you should probably split up
that drink - your body can't absorb 40 grams of protein at once like that,
so you are probably only getting "credit" for about 20-30 of
those grams.

Yes - according to my nutritionist, you can count protein drinks towards
your daily requirements....JR
