Question:
Post-op SBVG researching revision.....................................

I had a SBVG in April 2001. I have recently been approved for a revision, but am confused. I was planning to have a RNY, but have the option of a repair of my SBVG. Has anyone had luck with simply repairing their SBVG? I am having a different surgeon this time, and he says, if he does the surgery, it will NOT need repair. I have had luck losing a couple of pounds at "CURVES" , but know that I can't lose this last 60# on my own. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!    — Dina P. (posted on March 29, 2003)

If you have to be revised, I would talk to a surgeon that does the DS.
