Question:
Ok it's been 3 months and I've only lost 1 pound. I'm trying so hard at this

I'm 8 months out and down a whopping 76 pounds. I know, I know, I don't want to sound un greatful, I have to wonder if I did the right thing by having this surgery. No, I know I did, it's just that I know people here in town that have lost so much and have not excerised or watched what they eat. I have 60 pounds to go and not sure what I'm doing wrong. Or is this the end for me as far as weight loss? Anyone else been stuck for this long? I do make sure I walk a couple times a week and get in my gallon of water per day. I am 6 months out as well and have been on a plateau for a month and two weeks. I talked to my doctor and he knows I exercise almost everyday, drink about 2.5 liters of water a day and my protein supplement was around 65-70 grams a day. What I discovered that Iam adding fat to my diet through condiments and salad dressing and sabotaging myself. I am not counting fat grams and trying to eat healthier. I will let you know if I get off this damnable plataue.. Something you might want to think about is what you are putting into your body. Yes, we are eating less, but we need to watch out for the hidden enemy. FAT....

Sometimes your body will hit a plateau. I believe what it is is that your body is getting adjusted to losing weight. I went about 6 weeks without losing any weight and was so discouraged. Even 1 pound would be great. Don't worry, it will start coming off.

I am 7 month post-op Open RNY. I have not lost a pound since Jan 4th! This is absolutely the most frustrated that I have ever been about my weight. I have lost 82# and am very gratefull for that. I walke a mile a day 3 times a week and workout at Curves for Women, 30 minutes a day SIX days a week! Still cant budge the scale. I eat tons of protein and about a gallon of water a day. I keep asking my dr. for an endoscopy to see if I have a leak, but he says that as long as I am not losing, he isnt worried.
