Question:
I want to include my designer whey protien in with my spagetti sauce - has anyone eve
r done that and how did it turn out. this is the kind that doesn't have any taste to it and I thought it would be a good way for me to get in the protein and not have to drink those awful shakes? Any suggesstions? Kim — K T. (posted on January 20, 2002)

From what I understand, you can't heat whey, plus, I would think you would
have to consume quite a bit to get enough in(spag. sauce)I use the flavored
designer whey, choc. and strawberry, mix them 1/2 and 1/2, the put it in
the freezer till it almost frozen. The colder the better works much better
for my tastebuds.

You wouldn't be able to heat it with the sauce because the protein would be
denatured and become useless to your body. You could probably mix it with
some parmesan cheese and sprinkle on top once you fix your plate. That much
heat shouldn't bother it. And every little bit helps! Make sure it's not
the flavored type. Chocolate spaghetti?!? :(~

Another idea would be to use Dry Milk Powder in any food, as it dissolves,
doesn't have a really prominent taste, and it adds quite a bit of protein
to your meals. It works especially well with sauces and cream based soups
etc.
