Question:
Has anyone heard of UAB or Shriners Hosp doing free skin removal?

Ive heard that the shriners are doing free skin removal for gastric bypass patients, I have also heard that UAB is doing the same thing for their burn patients, but I cant seem to get any info about it other than rumors. Anyone have more info please e mail me!! I need to get my boobs lifted and pani removed and I DOUBT my ins will take care of it. I NEED INFO THANKS!!! [email protected] please    — Dina L. I have heard that UAB does it from several sources - even from a lady in my support group - she looked into having it done by UAB. I heard that UAB can only skin if there is not too much scar tissue. It would be worth looking into. I have a 1-800 number that you can call and ask for their burn center. They may be able to give you more information. How does this old gem keep resurfacing? Skin has to be typed and matched to the recipient just like any other organ, If this "legend" had any truth to it, you wouldn't have to be looking for the information! It would be readily available.

only if only it were true, but no one wants to spend thousands of dollars for our old stretched out skin when they can have it free from skinny cadavers, this is a big fat untruth, hoaxxx, lie, wish, dream, no one will give a free reconstructive surgery, no one, call around see for yourself.
