As a suggestion from the Atkins book, I mix half Equal half sweet n low
together. It made a huge diff in the taste, and, I find I use less. With
Splenda and equal by themselves, I find I use more. It taste more like
sugar to me.

I am 6.5 months post op and use Equal at least once a week. So far, no
problems. I have lost 130 pounds!

The aspartame in Equal tends to give me a headache, so I use Splenda...it
also tastes more like sugar to me. I had also heard something about Equal
raising insulin levels, but I'm not sure if that is true or not......so I
stick with Splenda.

I prefer Splenda, but I use Equal too. I even use Sween n Low...if
I have to. I'm lucky I have no sensitiviy to aspartame...and after
decades of using saccarine...I don't notice the after taste.

I use Sugar Slim which I purchase from www.vitalady.com. It works just
like real sugar and there's no real difference in taste. I used it in an
apple pie I made for Christmas and since everyone knows that I only cook
sugarfree stuff, they were all skeptical until they tasted it!! Rave
review all around! It comes in both white sugar and brown sugar (which is
really white, but tastes like brown -- strange). I also use Equal to
sweeten my tea or cereal only. I use the other for cooking. (Tina - 5 1/2

I use Splenda and Equal. Use Equal in my coffee, for convience of little
packets. Use Splenda for baking and making tea. It's great
