Duh! I am sure you do take it with water. But, do you have to crush it or
cut in half or something?

I'VE TAKEN PRINIVIL FOR ABOUT 2 YRS NOW AND I TAKE 4 PILLS A DAY I JUST
TAKE THEM ONE AT A TIME WITH A SIP OF SOMETHING AND SINCE THEY ARE ALREADY
SO SMALL THEY HAVE NEVER GAVE ME A PROBLEM, ONLY TIME I'VE DID HAVE A
PROBLEM WITH PILLS IS WHEN I WAS RUSHING OR WOULD ATTEMPT TO TAKE
EVERYTHING AT ONCE. A BIG NO, NO FOR ME, EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT SOME THINGS
WILL COME BY TRIAL AND ELIMINATION. BEST WISHES JANICE

Prinivil is for hypertension and most people take medication w/a glass of
water. It's a personal choice whether you want to crush it or cut it in
half. I guess it would be up to you~just as long as you take it as
prescribed. Then if you have problems taking it, let your doctor know. I
don't think it matters at all whether your surgery is distal, proximal or
medial.

Kim, I have been taking Prinivil for protection of my kidneys, as I am a
diabetic and have been for at least 20 years. I find i don't have a
problem taking it as long as I make sure I drink plenty of liquid. Take
Care
