Question:
Does vitamin E have to be taken a specific way?
I saw a posting that said Vitamin E could not be taken in a gel cap. What other ways are there to take Vitamin E? Also, ongoing before surgery I also took garlic, COQ10, aspirin, and niaspan. Is there a specific way I have to take these supplements? Is this true for all supplements in the future like vitamin C? Kinda confused and would appreciate getting "straightened out". I was told to take vitamin E in a dry form. I forget why. also, the same
with vitamin A&D. This vitamin stuff is so confusing. Maybe someone
can confirm this.

Since RNY & BPD malabsorb fats/oils to a degree, the fat soluble
vitamins are reduced, also. That's A,D, & E. Since you've lost them
with oil, it is not possoble ot repalce them in the same form you lost 'em
once. So, the oil gels may be partially absorbed, may not. A = eyes, D =
bones, E = hair, skin, nails & capillary walls (and it's worth more
than that to men). Usually aspirin are too abrasive. Ask you doc if you
can sub them or how to dose them without burning your pouch.

Hello, I ake a liquid form of vitamin E from GNC the bottle is 2oz I take
one dropper full a day. I also found a liquid B vitamin supplement which I
take two droppers full a day aslo a GNC produt. I do get B12 shots
bi-weekly and chew 4 Flintstones a day and take other things.
