How much of the food you eat is asorbed if you have 150cm bypassed?

I had this by pass last May. I was 278 now I am 139-140 . I lost ALL my excess weight and then some! I prefer to weigh about about 145-150 for my age and height. How much you abosorb? I was told about 40 percent. But I don't know if that is correct. Just figure at 18 months post op and eating meals averaging 6 to 8 oz who cares what I absorb. At 150 cm , I do dump on sugar. So I keep that to a bare minimum.
