Question:
Does anyone know about a government department that pays for this surgery?

I have an aunt that is seriously in need of this surgery. Someone in the chat room one day said that there was a government department that paid for this surgery for people that are morbidly obese and can't pay for the surgery. I am trying to find out what department it is. It seems to me like they said the Department of Labor but for the life of me I can't remember if this was it or not.    — Lynn Y. Check with your states rehabilitation department/commission, I read somewhere that they help pay if you meet the criteria. Good Luck!

I have heard for vocational rehabs paying for this... check for one in your city or state.
