Since you don't have a profile, it'd be helpful to know which kind of
surgery you had and who your doc is?

Check with your nutrition counselor. Full liquids (liquids you cannot see
through) is usually recommended. This can include your sugar free
puddings, yogurts and even mashed potatoes (thin), cream soups and oatmeal.

hi, I am also into my 2nd post op week after open surgery. breakfast:
cream of wheat or oatmeal made with skim milk, 1/2 soft banana, or sugar
free yogurt. Lunch, any cream soup, tomato, mushroom, chicken, etc., couple
of crackers, sugar free jello, any flavor, skim milk or Crystal Lite;
dinner, same or baked fish sticks. I can eat watermelon, cantaloupe and
honey dew with no problems. Also, milkshakes made with SF ice cream and
skim milk, great way to add protein!
