Question:
I found a vitamin that contains 100mg soy protein.
Is this the same type of protein we need, or are there differnt kinds of protein? The vitamin is for hair/nail/skin. Thanks. — Gail M. (posted on August 1, 2001)

It takes 1000mg to make 1 gram. So 100mg of of protein is nothing when you
consider most people require at least 60 grams or more of protein a day. It
would take 10 of these vitamins to get one gram of protein.
