Question:
what to do for hanging skin after weight lose?
I have lost 115lbs. and the skin is just hanging in my ab area, under my upper arms, and upper legs. working out is not helping. Would like to get those areas possibly surgically alter. — Anna H. (posted on July 18, 2001)

Ann I tried everything exercise does NOT WORK except to tone muscle
not fat or loose skin.. Some are lucky enough to have every elastic skin
that shapes right back after the loss of 100 plus pounds.. I was not
that lucky ...I used those little 5 pounds weights for my arms and MAYBE
lost an inch :( which didn't really help the size of my batwings ...
here is my website on what I had to do with the tummy area which also
resulted in a complete lower body lift.. I'm VERY happy with the results
of those areas and it was covered by insurance.. I may have the arms and
inner thighs done next year but for now I just want to enjoy life and
not have any more surgeries..So I will wear clothes that hide my saggy
inner thighs and wear sleeves to my elbows.. :)

I just received an e-mail from a duondenal switch member who mentioned that
she was drinking skim milk and that has helped. I'm going to do some
research on this as far as how much, etc., but will post again when I find
out the results.
